Donohue Brown Smyth LLC is pleased to announce that Justin T. Evans and Scott L. Howie have been elected equity partners of the firm.
Justin concentrates his practice on defending physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers in professional negligence lawsuits. He brings extensive first- and second-chair trial experience, along with experience resolving cases through dispositive motions and alternative dispute resolution.
Scott chairs the firm’s appellate practice group and has focused almost entirely on posttrial motions and appeals for more than 30 years. He has written more than 500 appellate briefs and delivered more than 120 oral arguments in hundreds of civil appeals, including matters before the Illinois Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
